A LOCAL GYM! Just started climbing a little over one month ago. Tanner is great. From the moment I checked in for the first time to this very day he has been nothing but professional and kind. After my third visit he greeted me by name! It reminded me when I was a regular at a bar. Now it’s a climbing gym. Oh how the times have changed. Orientation was super easy to follow, the pacing was comfortable where it didn’t feel rushed and I felt safe afterwards. The overall environment and culture is very relaxed. Everyone that climbs there is really nice too. It’s very clean. Bathrooms are spotless. The shared chalk always seems clean (I don’t really know if it can be dirty lol). The walls are clean, I never feel gross touching them, and that goes for the mats as well. My only complaint is I can’t walk there because I really don’t like driving. I accidentally walked in on a competition day and the man running the competition was very enthusiastic. It was fun to watch. As I was watching he asked if I wanted to join, he quickly recognized that I didn’t really know what was happening and then he took the time to explain how competitions work. I declined the invite to join but I felt very welcome. There was still plenty for me to climb that days regardless. I went from a complete beginner to someone that thinks about climbing throughout my days. Thank you Focus!!

The owners Joe and Jacie are the absolute sweetest! Super accommodating and helpful every time I come here. Joe and his team enjoy providing fresh, new paths for climbers as they update the routes on each climbing wall. LGBTQ+ friendly and just an overall great place to climb for beginners (like myself) and experts! Also the music they play is fire 🔥. I'd give them six starts out of five if I could! Would recommend.

Thoughtful setting, lots of problems, super nice people. These non-chain/franchise gyms keep the spirit alive.

Great experience at this gym. Employees are super nice and helpful. This is an encouraging gym who seem to welcome all. The fact that it is locally owned makes it even better.

Took my boys rock climbing for the first time and we had soo much fun! Staff was nice and helpful but let us do our own thing once we did the orientation. As a mom with a 5 and 13 year old it’s hard finding activities they both enjoy. 5 stars would go back again!

Best gym in the valley! Focus climbing center has always offered challenging and fun climbs! The owner and staff are always very helpful and friendly. The padding is always a very comfortable landing and perfect for introducing new climbers. It is without a doubt the coldest gym in the valley.I would recommend anyone to come and try it!

The coolest climbing gym around literally and figuratively temp was low during this hot summer and the most fun lines to climb all over, can't wait to go back!

Love this place! Fun routes, friendly environment, awesome staff. Biking program, multiple pass discounts throughout the week, and a nice training center. Focus is all about trying hard. The grades feel solid for what they are with good moves. Training area has plenty of hangboards, weights to get creative with, and bands/ropes/bars for warming up. I love having auto belays and boulders in the same proximity. There's also a tension board to keep you humble. If you're a super crusher then the small area may get boring fast. But luckily won't be an issue for me for awhile =D I will say it can get warm in there and wish I could pop my shirt off for a couple minutes ;)
