Are you new to climbing, and want to start on the right foot?
Our Focus on Fundamentals is a 60 minute course for new climbers that teaches the basic techniques needed to maximize your experience and become a smarter climber. This course is a private lesson for you, and up to two more of your friends or family. During the class, our expert staff will cover:
- Footwork
- Body position
- Dynamic motion
- Climbing terminology
Price per person:
- $50 for Focus members
- Not a member?– Sign up for this class and get a day pass plus gear for $60!
- Want to bring your friend?–each additional person is $25
No prior experience is necessary.
We offer a variety of snacks and drinks, but feel free to bring your own.
Class is available for all ages.

Rescheduling requires 24 hour notice. If you want to reschedule and cannot provide 24 hours notice, a $20 fee will be assessed.

Been climbing 18 years and route set for a bit of it. The setting is well thought and amazing, plenty of routes, and they change the routes often. Grades are pretty accurate to outdoor climbing which better prepares anyone looking to build up for the outdoors. I do wish the gym closed a bit later (11pm) to get a longer workout in. There's a few people I know who cant make it to the gym until 9pm. But this gym rocks
Was searching for a place to take my family for our first climbing experience. My family can best be described as a mess. We all have unique and rediculous personalities. We fit right in! Very friendly patrons and the staff, well let's just say awesome is the closest word to describing them.
It starts with signing the mandatory forms any establishment will have you sign if there is risky stuff going on in there. A saftey brief that an 8 year old can follow. Lesson on how to use the equipment and off to the races. You'll be growing and moaning your way to the top with your bus full of kids! OK maybe less groans and moans than my old behind and no or just a car full of kids. Either way a very fun time is guaranteed.
I hope they liked our tribe as much as we liked Focus, because they will definitely be seeing us again!

Owner was a nice guy, and the boulder area was really fun. Didn’t get to try it, but the auto belay/lead wall looked fun too. Will def go back.
Super clean facility. Loads of climbs across many grades. They have bouldering and top ropes (with auto belays). Family owned small business which is always good too.
Great place to climb by yourself with the auto-belays, chill staff and fun routes. Also has a nice workout area, been a member for a while can't complain.
Great climbing gym! routes are really fun and diverse, staff is friendly. Plays good music too !
Their 10 day vertical climber pass is a solid deal. Also decent lineup of auto-belay options.

Amazing gym! Focus has some of the tallest bouldering walls of any gym I’ve been to, which made it challenging and fun. They make great use of the space and stick to what matters most to all of us: climbing and community. (Plus bonus, it always feels good to support a local business).
i love this place. i started learning to climb here, and the staff and environment itself has given me a beautiful opportunity to physically grow as a climber, and attached community and love to the sport.
The facility is clean, the safety rules are clear, and there's a great selection of routes for both bouldering and auto-belay, which means even someone out of shape like me can have a good time and find success. Plus, every staff member I've met has been super friendly.

I'm traveling through town and wanted a temporary membership while I'm here. Focus totally met my needs and even had a special where I could show off my skills and get some free merch. Joe (the ower) is super knowledgeable and helpful, he even gave me some pointers for increasing my finger strength. Tanner did an awesome orientation, in depth but not overdone. The gym is a good size and offers both bouldering options and auto belays of varying difficulty. It was never packed when I went so I didn't have to wait to climb and I was able to traverse all around on the boulders without being in anyone's way. Highly recommend this gym 💜
Challenging but still fun! Good idea for taking family visiting. Wednesday night is ladies night so saved a lot!

Clean facility, staight-forward safety rules, a wide selection of routes for both bouldering and auto-belay so even an out-of-shape old person like me can find success. Each of the staff members I have met have been extremely friendly.
Fantastic climbing gym! Big with many autobelays and a gnarly overhang on the bouldering wall. The owners are super sweet and walked us through everything we needed to know
This is my favorite gym for when I’m visiting family for the holidays! Feels like an old school climbers gym (tough climbs! lots of crushers! training center with tension board, campus board, and multiple hangboard) but without any snobby vibes (friendly people! lots of families and kids! lots of beginners!).
Love that they have tall bouldering walls and that many routes are graded up to a halfway point with an option to continue on. It’s nice for those of us with injury prone ankles but still who want to complete a problem without bailing early! Wish more bouldering gyms would implement this.
Also, thanks for being one of the few remaining gyms to still have auto belays! Those of us traveling through appreciate it.

A LOCAL GYM! Just started climbing a little over one month ago. Tanner is great. From the moment I checked in for the first time to this very day he has been nothing but professional and kind. After my third visit he greeted me by name! It reminded me when I was a regular at a bar. Now it’s a climbing gym. Oh how the times have changed. Orientation was super easy to follow, the pacing was comfortable where it didn’t feel rushed and I felt safe afterwards. The overall environment and culture is very relaxed. Everyone that climbs there is really nice too. It’s very clean. Bathrooms are spotless. The shared chalk always seems clean (I don’t really know if it can be dirty lol). The walls are clean, I never feel gross touching them, and that goes for the mats as well. My only complaint is I can’t walk there because I really don’t like driving. I accidentally walked in on a competition day and the man running the competition was very enthusiastic. It was fun to watch. As I was watching he asked if I wanted to join, he quickly recognized that I didn’t really know what was happening and then he took the time to explain how competitions work. I declined the invite to join but I felt very welcome. There was still plenty for me to climb that days regardless. I went from a complete beginner to someone that thinks about climbing throughout my days. Thank you Focus!!
The owners Joe and Jacie are the absolute sweetest! Super accommodating and helpful every time I come here. Joe and his team enjoy providing fresh, new paths for climbers as they update the routes on each climbing wall. LGBTQ+ friendly and just an overall great place to climb for beginners (like myself) and experts! Also the music they play is fire 🔥. I'd give them six starts out of five if I could! Would recommend.
Thoughtful setting, lots of problems, super nice people. These non-chain/franchise gyms keep the spirit alive.
