Training Tuesdays
Every 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the month- Focus will host a different training class, and these clinics are FREE for Focus members only.
Signups are “day of” only and are “first come, first serve” basis. Classes start promptly at 730p. If you are late, your space will be given to someone waiting. Clinic size will vary from week-to-week.
These can vary from:
- Anchor building
- Beginning Bouldering
- Rings and antagonistic muscle development
- Intro to footwork
- How to redpoint your project effectively
- Intro to Blood Flow Restriction (BFR)

Intro To Climbing
Our Intro To Climbing membership is a great way to try out the sport of Indoor Climbing without huge commitments or purchases.
This program comes with:
- One month membership
- Free harness and shoe rental every visit
- Free Focus on Fundamentals class
- ONLY $149
All Intro to Climbing participants are eligible for:
- Individual EFT membership (NO REGISTRATION FEE)**
- Madrock gear package– shoes and harness for $119 ($140 value)
- Upgrade to the Shark for $50.

Focus on Fundamentals
Are you new to climbing, and want to start on the right foot?
Our Focus on Fundamentals is a 60 minute course for new climbers that teaches the basic techniques needed to maximize your experience and become a smarter climber. This course is a private lesson for you, and up to two more of your friends or family. During the class, our expert staff will cover:
- Footwork
- Body position
- Dynamic motion
- Climbing terminology
Price per person:
- $50 for Focus members ($60 non-members)
- Want to bring a friend?– each additional person is $25.
No prior experience is necessary. Class is available for all ages.
Rescheduling requires 24 hour notice. If you want to reschedule and cannot provide 24 hours notice, a $20 fee will be assessed.

Private Lessons
Looking to gain that edge in climbing? Schedule a private lesson to have one-on-one attention with a senior member of the Focus Coaching Staff. We can work with you to provide:
- Specific training schedule
- Analyze technique
- Gymnastic ring and off the wall exercises
- Power and endurance workouts
- Finger and campus training
- Health and recovery
All private lessons are taught by a Senior Coach of the Focus Coaching Staff. 2 hour lessons are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Rates for private lessons are $70/hr.
Day pass purchase is NOT required for private lessons.

It starts with signing the mandatory forms any establishment will have you sign if there is risky stuff going on in there. A saftey brief that an 8 year old can follow. Lesson on how to use the equipment and off to the races. You'll be growing and moaning your way to the top with your bus full of kids! OK maybe less groans and moans than my old behind and no or just a car full of kids. Either way a very fun time is guaranteed.
