Tuesday, August 16th from 7-9p, Focus will be hosting an Anchors Class.

This class will be taught by Caleb Lichtenberger, Owner of Stone Man Climbing Company. Caleb is certified guide with the Professional Climbing Guides Institute.

This class will focus on, but will not be limited to the following topics:

• Outdoor trad anchors– Specifically cams and stoppers, practice with placement.
• How to identify good bolts vs bad bolts
• Create safe top/belay anchor using more than 1 anchor.
• Basic knot tying- Figure 8 on a bight, clove hitch etc.
• Recommended for Newer and Intermediate climbers, as well as gym climbers looking to go outside, but don’t know where to start.
