RESULTS ARE HERE
Top THREE in each category receive a prize from the Chalk Cartel. Pick up in person at Focus!!
Where/When:
- Thursday, August 12th and Friday August 13th
- The comp is REDPOINT format (multiple attempts/no penalty).
- The comp area will be on the Can and Right Wave, –and will be divided into three sections.
- Only competitors will be allowed to climb in the competition area on the day of the comp.
Comp Specifics:
- Competitors will have 10 minutes per section, with a 10 minute rest in between each section.
- Each section will have approx 6-9 problems ranging from V0- to V9
- Ability categories of: New Climber (V0-V2) Intermediate (V2-V4) Advanced (Vv4-V6) Open (V7+)
- Allow 60 minutes to complete this competition.
- You must check in at least 10 min before your scheduled time. IF you have not checked in on time, your time will be available for a non-registered competitor.
- If you climb between 10a and 1030a, you may arrive as early as 930a to warm up.
Scoring:
- The comp will be self judged. This means, you will score yourself.
- Either you get completion with a match on the finish hold, or nothing.
- Your scorecard will have two different point values for each problem. One value for first try (flash), and a lower value for every try thereafter (redpoint).
- Your score will be your top 3 overall problems, with total points as a tie-break.
Social Distancing:
- Please arrive early enough to warm up properly.
- Once you have finished competing, please consider leaving asap IF the facility is at capacity.

Registration:
- FREE- cost nothing. Day pass OR Focus membership is required.
- Prizes from Chalk Cartel.
- IF you have not been to Focus before, please fill out a waiver, COVID symptom screen and allow an additional 30 minutes for facility orientation.
- Sign up early and pick your time, OR show up and get the next available time slot.
- The comp will run from 10a to 9p with time slots every 10 minutes.
- You must check in at least 10 min before your scheduled time. IF you have not checked in on time, your time will be available for a non-registered competitor.
